Bok Tower Gardens Honors the Lives of the 49 Orlando Victims With A Special Tolling of the Tower Bells on Sunday, June 19 at 12:00pm

LAKE WALES, Fla. - Standing in unity with the families of the horrific Orlando shooting, Bok Tower Gardens will toll the bells on Sunday, June 19th at 12:00pm with 49 strikes, each toll representing the life of a victim. Carillon towers across the globe are using this symbolic act to honor the lives taken during this unthinkable tragedy and Bok Tower Gardens is joining this effort in solidarity and respect for the victims, their families and the survivors still recovering.

Founder Edward Bok created Bok Tower Gardens as a sanctuary and dedicated the Tower to be an enduring symbol of peace for the citizens of the United States. The tolling ceremony will be a reminder to visitors that every life is precious and now more than ever, we should all strive for peace
