Mapping the impact of the cuts
|
Coventry Women’s Voices and the TUC are planning a toolkit for use by groups who want to analyse the likely impact of the spending cuts on women. The toolkit will summarise the main cuts taking place, give an over-view of what is likely to happen as a result of these cuts and show what this will mean in a particular area. If you're involved in a local campaign and you'd like to share your experience please contact Mary-ann Stephenson at
maryann@maryannstephenson.go.uk
The toolkit is based on the recent report Unravelling Equality? A Human Rights and Equality Impact Assessment of the Public Spending Cuts on Women in Coventry
and comes as the Women's Resource and Development Agency in Northern Ireland publish a report on the impact of the spending cuts on women in Northern Ireland, The NI Economy: Women on the Edge.
