We appreciate you so very much.  It is a pleasure to teach your children and see them grow in so many ways.  We hope you have enjoyed your time together as you celebrate the birth of our Savior.  

• Bible:  We will continue in the New Testament with the life of Christ and His miracles.
• Bible verse:  Matthew 4:19,  Jesus said,  “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
• Show and Tell:  Bring and share with us one of your Christmas gifts.  It must be small enough to fit in your backpack and not breakable.
• Reading:  We will review and extend words with three letters and a short vowel in the middle.  We call these CVC words.  Practicing sight words and stories at home will keep them from forgetting skills and words as well.
• Math:  Counting to 100, addition facts to 4, counting by 10s, and pennies and dimes
• Science:  We will be doing a unit study on polar animals.

• January 18 - No School because of M.L.K. Day
• February 12 - Valentine Party - This is changed from the original calendar
• January 15 - No School - This is another change from the calendar

Bring to school every day:  coats, water bottles filled, masks plus an extra one, folders and backpacks.  Be sure to bring back your towel to rest on after Christmas break.
