Successful Completion of General Drive Drainage Projects Reduce Flooding

The General Drive Drainage project is now complete! Your Board of Directors extends heartfelt thanks to the residents for their patience and understanding during the construction period. The projects were a success, and we will now see less flooding and better drainage because of these enhancements. Thank you to the contractor, Badger Underground, for two successful projects done on time and within budget.

Ensuring Safety as the New School Year Begins

With the new school year underway, it’s crucial to revisit the importance of safe driving habits to ensure the safety of our community, especially our youngest members. Even though there are very few school-age children in our Eagleton community, it's vital for everyone to be vigilant and cautious at all times.

  • Speeding: One of the primary concerns is speeding, especially in school zones. Drivers should adhere to posted speed limits and be prepared to slow down even further when children are present. Remember, children can be unpredictable, and reducing speed gives you more time to react.

  • Full Stops at Stop Signs: Making a complete stop at stop signs is not just a legal requirement; it’s a crucial safety measure. Rolling through stop signs can lead to accidents, especially in areas where children might be crossing the street. Always come to a full stop, check for pedestrians, and proceed with caution.

  • School Buses: Extra care must be taken around school buses. When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, it means children are getting on or off. It's illegal and dangerous to pass a stopped school bus in this situation. Patience and adherence to this rule can prevent tragic accidents.

Accidents can happen anywhere. By driving carefully and observing these safety tips, we contribute to a safer environment for everyone. Our vigilance can protect not only children but all pedestrians and drivers in our community.

As the new school year gets underway, be aware that the Palm Beach Gardens Police will be strictly enforcing traffic laws, particularly during the hours when children are most likely to be heading to and from school. Ensure you adhere to all traffic regulations and avoid giving the Police any reason to stop you. Let's all do our part to maintain a safe driving environment and protect our nation's children.

An Important Message from our Palm Beach Gardens Chief of Police - Dominick Pape

"South Florida has seen a tremendous increase in vehicle burglaries. Unfortunately, Palm Beach Gardens is not immune to this type of crime. The Police Department continues to work hard and has caught a number of these burglars; however, offenders are finding too many easy targets."

These simple prevention habits can make all the difference, no matter how safe the area !

  • Lock your vehicle doors every time - even for quick stops or at home.
  • Never leave items of any kind inside your vehicle. Hiding items doesn't work!
  • At a minimum, if you must leave items, place them in your trunk.
  • Cell phones, power cords, GPS holders, and other key sets act as neon signs.
  • Park in well-lit areas, stay alert, and report any suspicious activity to the Police Department's non-emergency number: (561) 799-4445.

PGA-POA Addressing Phone Issues with ABDI's Gate Access System

As many Eagleton homeowners are aware, there are ongoing issues with calling in visitors to the Gate Access System. This system is managed and maintained by the PGA Property Owners Association, while the Eagleton gatehouse is simply a user of the system.

We have received the following update from the PGA-POA:
