Hey everyone!

Anyone else feeling a bit disheartened about this whole Brexit debacle?

I have to admit that even though I no longer live in Europe, I'm upset about what unfolded over the weekend. Without even considering how this will affect the next generations, I think what bothers me most is knowing that bigotry has won and facts have lost. Like a mate of mine said: "Not all the Leave voters are racist, but all the racists voted Leave." 

Although this post might be a bit exaggerated, I think it does make a good point about how stuck we are in our own echo chambers. If Brexit taught me one thing it's that we all need to make more of an effort to escape our bubbles and seek a dialogue with those who think differently – as frustrating as it might be.
