Research into adolescent sexting - participants wanted. Looking for young people, aged 12 – 25 who, before they were 18 years old, sent or posted self-produced nude or nearly nude pictures or films via a mobile or the Internet.  They need to be able to give informed consent to be involved in the research.

Interviewees Wanted: Second Wave Feminism, Social Change and Wife Abuse in Glasgow. Interviewees wanted for dissertation understanding how Second Wave Feminism and social change impacted on the lives of women who have experienced domestic abuse in the late 1960s and/or 1970s. The Write to End Violence Against Women Awards call for entries is now closed. Shortlisted nominees will be announced at the end of October, with winners and awards being presented at an event at the Scottish Parliament on November 12th.

Domestic abuse cases rise to more than 60,000 in just one year. New statistics issued by the Scottish Government today revealed a total of 60,080 incidents of domestic abuse recorded by the police in Scotland in 2012-13. Read the full article here.

Bill Walker jailed for 12 months for domestic abuse. Following his eventual resignation in September, Bill Walker was jailed after being convicted of a series of domestic abuse offences.
