OCTOBER 2021 NEWSLETTER
October Board of Directors' MeetingThe Championship POA's October Board Meeting was called to order and the President asked for a
moment of silent reflection for our Veterans as well as our active member of the Army, Navy, Air
Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. He also asked all present to remember General Colin Powell
who had died recently.
The Project Managers will be asked to report on their activities at each monthly Board meeting. The Board then discussed several items related to the community and acted as appropriate. Those items included:
The Board also discussed and approved the Championship POA Budget for the year 2022. Mr. Slepakoff, as Treasurer, presented his proposed budget which amounted to a 2.5% increase over 2021. Further details on the budget will be made available to the various HOA Boards in the near future. Details on any item discussed at a POA Board Meeting will be in the Minutes of that meeting, available after approval at the following month's meeting. The next Championship Board of Directors Meeting will be held on November 17th, 2021. All homeowners are invited and encouraged to attend. Veterans Salute Celebration! The City of Palm Beach
Gardens
will "Honor All Who Served" on November 11th at 11 a.m.
at their Veterans Salute Celebration! The event will feature music by
the 13th Army Band and
presentation of colors by the Palm Beach Gardens Police and Fire Honor Guard. This is a
complimentary event. Pets are not allowed.

The President then appointed Mr. Earl Goodman to the Board as a representative
of Eagleton Cove and Ms. Dianne Silich to the Board as a
representative of Grand Cay. The two new members replace Mr. Joe
Gallucci and Ms. Lorna Krafchuk who have resigned from the Board.
As Ms. Krafchuk was the Secretary of the Board, Ms. Terry Leonard was appointed
as the new Secretary. All appointments were approved by a vote of the Board. The Board then
voiced their appreciation to Mr. Gallucci and Ms. Krafchuk for their long-term service to the
Board and the overall Eagleton community.
