Summer is just around the corner!

• Bible - Knowing God
• Verse - John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
• Spelling - Ways to spell y (yellow, yes, baby, study, my, by, cry)
• Reading & Phonics - Practice visual tools (Predict & Justify, Compare/Contrast, Sequence of events, Character, Main Idea, Author’s Purpose)
• Grammar & Writing - Complete sentences; write Squiggle stories; practice paragraph writing
• Math - Review math facts; roman numerals
• Science/Social Studies: Wants and Needs

• May 22 - Picnic Lunch (provided by Shiloh) and Field Day:

1. Wear field trip shirt and sunscreen; boys may wear swim trunks, girls may wear bathing suit under field trip shirt and dress code shorts
2. Bring a towel and sunscreen; bring a change of clothes if your child is going to Extended Care
3. Parents are invited to watch the fun (starts at 1:00)
4. Last full day

• May 23 - Awards assembly at 8:30 at Cross Church; wear regular dress code; dismissal afterwards; no backpacks needed; last day of school; no extended care

Countdown Fun:

• May 15: Bring stuffed animal from home
