Hi there,

A recent Gartner report highlighted that 72 percent of data and analytics leaders are either leading or heavily involved in their organisation’s digital transformation initiatives. It’s a good indication of data’s central influence on digital transformation. That makes the governance of your information even more crucial.

Fortunately, according to InfoGovANZ, local organisations are taking information governance seriously, with increasing numbers turning to information governance frameworks, with policies and procedures, to maximise the value of their data and minimise risks. And those programs are maturing – though the business sector is lagging behind government in maturity and in having proactive, rather than reactive programs.

We take a look at the issues around governance and some of the drivers in this week’s lineup.
