HELP DREAMS COME TRUE FOR THE CHILDREN OF
SOUS SAVANNE, HAITI!
December 9, 2020
Her name describes her perfectly: Lovely has been in the Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) of Hope Force International from the beginning – shortly after the massive 2010 earthquake destroyed 90% of homes in her village. Seeing her grow up through elementary and secondary school, Lovely has benefited from a program that helps pay for school fees, uniforms, supplies, and books. These children also receive supplemental food packages — including rice, beans, spaghetti, cooking oil, and seasoning cubes.

After graduating high school, Lovely’s desire to pursue nursing inspired us to explore how Hope Force International (HFI) could be a part of helping her realize her dream.
Through a partnership with the Regenesis Project, HFI was able to sponsor Lovely — enabling her to attend nursing school. A few weeks ago, Lovely and 60 other nursing students graduated, and she has already begun a practical internship with the local hospital. We are all so proud of her!
When asked about the HFI Child Sponsorship Program, Lovely said, “For me, it was a special way to receive help for us kids and the caregivers/parents so that we could see our dreams come true. I know that I have a dream, and I have to do all I can to make it come true. I pray for those who help me…and I want to THANK YOU, because education is the best gift you are giving me in life!”

Would you please consider becoming a sponsor this Christmas season? We desire to see numerous “Lovely stories” continue to emerge as we seek to come alongside the beautiful children of Haiti. Many children long to be a part of the sponsorship program, but we simply do not have enough sponsors.
For $34 per month, you can sponsor a child in Sous Savanne, Haiti. As you receive pictures and updates on a regular basis, you will see that your sponsorship provides your child what is needed to reach their potential; an education and the opportunity to reach for their dreams. Your support also provides relief from the food crisis that so many suffer from in Haiti.
You can make a world of difference in the life of a child who lives in the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation. Who knows...but one day, that child might be a nation changer!
