The City of Adelaide is proud to announce that we are listed in the ICF top 7 Intelligent Communities of the year for 2020. For over a decade, we have been strategically investing in projects which now position Adelaide as the most connected city in Australia. The cornerstone of this achievement is Ten Gigabit Adelaide, an Australian first, ten gigabit per-second data network, which is the last stage of roll-out to North Adelaide and the East End. City of Adelaide is also leading the way to a carbon neutral future with the recently announced 100% renewable electricity contract. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do to ensure thoughtful innovation and
sustainable growth. The renewable energy contract will save money for the city and create industry opportunities and all council operations will be carbon neutral by the end of 2020.
