Dear ,

Hands up who hasn’t shopped on their mobile phone? In today’s fast paced world, it’s an increasingly practical and convenient way to get stuff done and, for some of us at least, enjoy a break.

But PayPal’s latest m-commerce research finds we’re not all happy mobile shoppers, with Australians demonstrating high rates of purchase abandonment due to poor user experience or security concerns.

Jonathan Cotton dives into the research to see where the market is heading and what Aussie businesses need to be considering.

In other news this week:

  • Drones, privacy and the home delivery conundrum
  • CSIRO shoots for the moon with space plans
  • Too old to code? Add ageism to your diversity quotas
  • AgTech meets RegTech meets InsurTech down on the farm

And Esker offers up some tips on machine learning and how it can be used to flag potential errors in orders – keeping your customers happy and freeing up staff to focus on work that adds value.

Happy reading,
