Being able to see man sized targets hiding in total darkness from over 1500 feet away is a key function of the ATAC 360 thermal imaging camera system.
The Foundation recently provided a grant to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department allowing for the purchase and installation of this high-tech device on the department's newly acquired all-hazards vehicle.
The vehicle will be used during hazardous incidents such as hurricanes, severe storms and high risk events that fall outside standard Police operations.
