1 Million Reasons To Be Proud1 million kilograms of donated goods have been collected from The Smith Family clothing bins in the City of Ryde. Thanks to everyone who donated their used clothing, accessories and bedding, we've helped save energy and water, and reduced waste. “City of Ryde residents have always been known for their generosity and this significant milestone of one million kilograms of material being donated just proves that,” Mayor Clr Jerome Laxale said. The Smith Family helps disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education so they can create better futures for themselves. There are 30 clothing bin sites in our City.
