What's going on in June at Joe Fortes?!



We're going to be in Whistler!

Our very own Executive Chef, Wayne Sych, will be in Whistler for two amazing events hosted by The Bearfoot Bistro and The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation!

June 28th: SKYHIGH - A Dinner with Altitude on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola

What's more thrilling than sitting in your own private gondola while being served a six course tasting menu 424 metres in the air? Nothing! Executive Chef Wayne Sych will be doing just that alongside highly-acclaimed Bearfoot Bistro Executive Chef Melissa Craig.

June 29th: 4th Annual Bearfoot Bistro World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle

Two of our most favourite things will be present...oysters and caesars! Who doesn't like that combination? Joe Fortes Executive Chef Wayne Sych will be there to watch the knives fly as he judges the competition! Good luck to all contestants!!

Summer Salmon Runs..

Copper River Sockeye Salmon is finally at Joe Fortes! Copper River Sockeye live in strong, cold rapids and thus have become strong and robust creatures. This particular fish has a healthy store of natural oils and is therefore very rich and tasty! Next up...Skeena River and Barkley Sound Salmon!
