I hope this email finds you and your family fit and well.
Kindly I often get asked about our son Harry's progress with his treatment for the blood cancer, Leukemia. I am happy to report he completed his 2 years of chemotherapy last October.
Harry is going well and to look at him you wouldn't pick what he's been through. Me, however, is a different story, so much grey hair now :)
Harry has monthly blood tests and Oncology visits for the next few years, so while he's in remission, it would be fair to say, my wife Sharon and I are a way from breathing easy.
But that's OK. You, like us, I'm sure have your own 'stuff' to deal with. Unfortunately, it's part of life and I sincerely hope things work out well for you and your loved ones.
One thing I have learnt from our experience with Harry is the incredible amount of good, generous and kind people in our world.
Too often the unpleasant nature of human beings make headlines, but we are, and still am, deeply humbled and appreciative of the love shown to our Harry and us. So "Thank You" everybody, I can never repay your kindness.
