This is a follow-up to last week's email to better define travel insurance

In the past, we've tried our best to make sure that all of our cruise participants are fully informed about what they should have with them while on the cruise. Some of you may be frequent cruisers and already know what is needed while away from home.

In the last email, we gave you a link that follow-up to you could buy short-term insurance. The reason that we gave you this link is that some health insurance companies will not provided insurance for travel outside of the country.  For example, if you had to return to the states for a medical reason and could not return on a commercial flight, a return trips could cost between $50,000-75,000 plus. 

• Please check with your local insurance provider and see if they cover all the possible costs of overseas medical accidents.
• Please bring a copy of your insurance coverage so we can have it on file if needed while traveling on the cruise.

A little money spent now could save you thousands later.
