  WELCOME:

Its our final newsletter of the year – and what a year it has been! We have worked on projects across the board and all over the country. From retail stores in London to a Castle in the Outer Hebrides, student accomodation in Nottingham to bars and restaurants right here in Manchester. The team has grown with 4 new designers coming on board working accross all areas of our full service design studio. The year was topped off last week as we won Design Practice of the Year at Mixology North.

We are alll looking forward to kicking back and relaxing over the Christmas break – recharging ourselves ready for another exciting year. All of the team would like to wish a merry Christmas and a happy new year to all!

Tusk Bar & Restaurant, Heaton Moor

Earlier this year we completed work on the new Tusk bar and restaurant in the leafy south Manchester suburb of Heaton Moor. Continuing our relationship with MAD, after designing the Northern Quarter bar of the same name last year, we were approached to re-design the old Kro Heaton Moor site to provide a new concept: offering a luxurious range of food, speciality gins and cocktails.

Keen to keep the bar tied into the existing Tusk brand, we kept the focus on the african inspiration used in the Northern Quarter site with a more sophisticated edge to appeal to the masses of the area. Read more

Foundation Retail Selection

Alongside a selection of beauty products, magazines, coffee, plants and superfoods sits a wide range of bespoke designed products such as teatowels, notebooks and t-shirts which perfectly compliment the coffee lifestyle. Head over to the coffee house on Lever Street, Manchester to pick up some last minute gifts!

Common Good, Office Design

Working in partnership with Common Good, a creative strategy company, and Inventid, a product design company, we designed and installed the first phase of their new offices. Delivering a fixed and flexible system which caters for current requirements but is felxible enough to adapt as their team expands built from readily availabe, off the shelf products to minimise any wasteage during manufacture.

We will begin phase 2 in the new year so keep a look out for updates on this as it happens on our instagram.
