As the summer holidays approach, we would like to provide you with an update on our activities for the second half of the year.

Africa Business Day at Endress+Hauser, 5 October 2016, Reinach (near Basel)

This year it will be the Swiss-African Business Circle (SABC) that hosts the Africa Business Day, the annual platform for business between Switzerland and Africa, at Endress+Hauser in Reinach on 5 October 2016 under the patronage of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The theme of this  year's programme is: Economic diversification - opportunities for Swiss business and  includes keynote speeches from the Swiss and African perspective, a panel discussion as well as workshops. The programme will be followed by an optional company visit. Career Fair with African Students, Fribourg, 10 November 2016

SABC will be organizing a career fair at the University of Fribourg, Fribourg on 10 November 2016. The event will give an opportunity for exchange between hiring line and/or HR managers with a focus on Africa and African students and young professionals who are studying/working in Switzerland. This is what sets this career fair apart from others – that it is on African operations & talents. 5th edition of the AFRICA CEO FORUM, Geneva, 20-21 March 2017

On 20 and 21 March 2017, rainbow unlimited and Groupe Jeune Afrique will be organizing the 5th edition of the AFRICA CEO FORUM (www.theafricaceoforum.com). On this occasion, CEOs of the largest African and international companies, political decision-makers from more than 40 African countries and the continent’s most active bankers and investors will gather in Geneva, Switzerland. As one of the most important financial centres in Europe, Geneva has been chosen to host the event in an effort to encourage international investment flows toward the African continent. Update Swiss-African Business Circle (SABC)

As operational manager of the SABC, we would like to provide you with a quick update on its activites. On 10 June, the SABC organized its first ever series of "Breakfast Buzz Africa" events where companies presented their activities and projects (to see the gallery click HERE). 

There are several upcoming events  that SABC is organizing including its annual flagship event with Swiss Ambassadors based in African countries (members only event), a Career Fair for exchange between Swiss companies and African students as well as the 4th Africa Business Day  (see details above).
