Kindergarten eNews

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall…there are four seasons, and we know them all.  Thank you for helping your child with Show and Tell this week as we saw so many different things that represent each season.  Also, keep up the great reading at home. What a huge difference it is making in your reader. Readers become leaders.

Next Week

  • Unit Study: Weather, describing different types of weather and all about the water cycle.
  • Show and Tell:  Bring 100 things in a small bag (must be able to fit inside backpacks)
  • Bible:  Christ’s life and ministry of how Jesus heals and helps
  • Bible Verse: “I have hidden your word in my heart so that I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11
  • Reading: Introduce compound words having two syllables (example: bath/tub, pig/pen, cat/fish), learn new sight words and review words we know, and continue guided readers.
  • Math: Reading, writing, and making numbers to 100
