4th Grade eNews

We are really enjoying getting to know and learn from your great group of kids!  They are a joy!

• Bible – We will become equipped to handle God’s Word this week.
• Verse - 2Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the Word of truth.”
• Spelling – Unit 4 (ai and ay):  aim, holiday, crayon, brain, remain, rail, grayest, trail, relay, fail, regain, explain, contain, mailman, complain, subway, Friday, essay, sustain, playmate
• Language – Review and testing over chapter 2 on Wednesday. Start chapter 3-  Prepositions.
• Reading- Begin our study of Character. We will read the novel Because of Winn Dixie.
• Math – rounding & multi-digit addition and subtraction
• Science – Review and Test over chapter 1 on Tuesday. Starting Insects and Spiders on Wednesday.
• Social Studies – Review and Test over chapter 1 on Wednesday

• September 14th: Dads and Donuts at 7am in the Cafeteria - Signing Day at 7:30am at Early Morning Drop Off Area - Pep Rally at 2:45pm
• September 28th: Grandparents Day at 9am - Early Dismissal - No Extended Care
• October 4th:  Cookie Dough Delivery
• October 12th: Homecoming Parties - More details to come!
