Welcome to the biggest online golf club in the UK... No images? Click here November News... Dear TSGers, so we are all facing another COVID lockdown but this time without golf! Obviously, we are all hugely disappointed not to be playing in November but if it means we're all safe, I think we can cope with a 4-week break. Meanwhile, TSG HQ are celebrating two major accolades this month. Firstly, we have been accepted into The Association of Golf Writers. A reward for 9 years of blogs and content writing on the site. And secondly, we are very proud to be mentioned in last weekend's Financial Times. All very humbling, but we must be doing something right. Til' next time... #KeepYourDistance... Ian & The TSG Team TSG EVENT: 10th Birthday at Celtic Manor 2020... Sadly, it already seems like an age ago that we were heading to Wales for our 10th birthday celebrations. TSG Partners - Scottish Blind Golf... As those who have been TSGers for any length of time will know that we like to support all golf charities whenever we can. In October we had the pleasure of being introduced to Sam Sloan & Lynsey Cormack-Roux at Scottish Blind Golf! We immediately wanted to back their cause by helping them to raise funds through their 4-ball auction, a great opportunity to pick up some bargains if you enjoy playing north of the border, including prestigious clubs such as: Fairmont St. AndrewsDalmahoy Hotel and Country ClubMacdonald Aviemore Resortwww.scottishblindgolf.com/auction >> However, we also took the opportunity to give ALL their members free PRO membership to their members. We look forward to working with this group of golfers and helping to raise the profile of Bind Golf as a whole! TSG Partners - BLACK FRIDAY offers... For great packages visit: Course Review of the Month: Mannings Heath GC, Horsham, West Sussex. "Great course......" "I have had Mannings Heath Golf Club on my radar for many years and when invited to play with a TSGer and Mannings Heath Golf Club member (Tony Moss), I jumped at the chance... The Clubhouse is very impressive and has a relaxed and sumptuous oldie-worldie atmosphere, but the patio area is what makes this place stand out! you can sit here after your round and enjoy the surroundings, on lovely garden furniture and with waitress service. Now to the Manning Heath Golf Course - The Waterfall On first sight, the tee view on the first hole gives you a good indication of what is to come. A Par 4, downhill, then uphill, to a flat protected green (which were all excellent). The course is full of undulations but even though I had walked nearly 10k by the end of my round, it didn't feel like it was hilly whilst we were playing. Although I felt it the next day... I guess this is because all the holes vary so differently. A Parkland course, this track favours the lower handicapper, I think you will struggle if you're more than 20.0. There are some superb holes though and beautifully maintained, including two of only three VERY pretty par 3's. All the tee boxes and bunkers were in excellent condition and raked every morning, despite COVID. Would I return, definitely BUT... whilst the Guest fee at £30 is very reasonable, I don't believe the Visitor fee of £65 is fair? Maybe £45 at a push but no more. However, this is very much a members' course, so I suspect they aren't targeting the 'nomadic' golfer, and that price, is maybe to deter some. Big thanks to Tony for the invitation to Manning Heath, I thoroughly enjoyed the course and the company and thank you to Gary and Damian for making it 'social!" Ian Mullins - Essex (H'cap 14)
