Celebrate Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month at the Barrick Museum with a film screening and director talk. Thursday, February 10th 6 - 8pm.
Producer/Director Stan Armstrong took on the task to tell the unknown story of West Las Vegas in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Invisible Las Vegas covers the negative and the positive, examining the accomplishments of many West Las Vegans from the days of segregation, when West Las Vegas was called “The Mississippi of the West.”, to integration. Armstrong will be on hand to discuss the film and answer questions after the screening.
