It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Herbert Kee, 88, a founder of CPC and longtime community leader of Chinatown. Dr. Kee and his wife Virginia brought the first youth and Head Start programs to Chinatown. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7th, at 3 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (RSVP required)".
Statement on the 2020 Census Citizenship QuestionOn March 27, 2018, Commerce Secretary Ross decided that the 2020 Census will include a citizenship status question. CPC is gravely concerned that this question will discourage people from completing the Census, and the Asian American community already struggles to ensure that our community members are counted.

CPC BEST (Business Exploration Student Track) with JPMorgan ChaseEleven JPMorgan Chase volunteers came to CPC’s Manhattan Community Center to mentor a group of 14 students who are participants of CPC’s BEST (Business Exploration Student Track) program.
