Searing heat and dusty conditions in Cumberland, BC break the seal on the first day of the BC Bike Race. Paxson and Nash defeat the heat and their fields.

    Saturday Registration in North Vancouver saw over 600 racers meet for the first time as they signed in, got their race bags, and dropped off bike boxes to meet them a week later in Whistler. Those pieces of luggage will soon be forgotten in the daily journey to the finish line after riding in an event known for the bubble it creates for it's riders on their travels to the ultimate singletrack experience.

2016 REGISTRATION
Not racing this year.....  Too much going on, injury, no time off, spouse says not this year?  2016 registration opens Monday July 6th at 12 Noon PST.  Jump on it early, registration was 75% sold out in two days last year and judging by the waitlist this year we expect that percentage to increase. 

Goal: Sell out in two days!

Special Thanks to the BC Bike Race sponsors.  Today was BC Ferries day and so far our racers and crew have enjoyed two beautiful ferry crossings, complete with amazing views of the mountains they will be exploring.

We are sad to leave Cumberland, their amazing riding, and welcoming community behind, but we are off to our beautiful base camp on the water in Powell River. Tomorrow we will hit the lush green singletrack that Day 2 has to offer.
