Sponsors News

Now we think a bike race should be a good party and as it happens, so do new sponsor Cape Bernier Vineyard  who will be on-board at the Iron House Bar with Willie Smiths Cider. There will also be some of Iron House's new vodka available . We think a bit of responsible consumption can be enjoyed after a hard days racing for those so who feel like a brew.

Camping is available for those wanting to not think about driving home, so please plan ahead and bring camping gear if a few bevvies is what you are after on the Saturday or Sunday.  We recommend the consumption of alcohol  be done in a responsible and enjoyable manner and are happy to find extra camping space to keep everyone on the roads safe.

In other sponsor news The aficionadi guys will also be on site with some foolishness and products to give away. These guys make great lifestyle clothing and between them and 4shaw giving away some clothing booty there is a fair chance you won't be going home naked. (Although getting on plane in only a t-shirt is a high-risk low-reward strategy.)

Reverse Sponsor News!

The team at Hellfire are sponsoring a new community cycling  event  - Ride the Night Hobart. Ride the Night is a great way to have some fun and support  great  causes.
After a sellout inaugural event in Melbs In January YSAS (Youth Support and Advocacy Service) and Bicycle Network have paired up to bring Ride the Night to Hobart as well for 2016 !  Funds raised from Ride the Night Hobart go to the Link Youth Health Service to help young people in need of support and Bicycle Network to advocate and support cycling. How good is that! Ride your bike to help your community and have a megaton of fun.  One of the ways we are supporting this great community  event is by giving away a Hellfire 2016 team entry drawn from Ride the Night Hobart entrants.  Hit up the Ride the Night  page to to see whats going down.  We will have more info on this in our next newsletter.

Team Hellfire supports many causes including local community groups, trail development and are proud to be supporting this new event and we highly recommend you check it out.

More Trail!

Are we nuts!? Yes we probably are. Whilst our volunteer team have been busy building 'bubbleheads' one of our major event sponsors Mtn Trails have been busy putting some of their trail fantasies into reality at Kellevie farm.  Pics to come in upcoming newsletters,  but to give you a heads up, some of the changes going in will include improving the climb on The Elevator, changes to liven up the relay stages and the night course.  It's looking good and it's no surprise these guys are the masters of trail design and sustainability.

On the topic of trails we would like to send a big shout out to the volunteer trail crew this year for their work over winter. It's a section of trail where every centimeter has been built by hand with the riding experience in mind, complementing the rest of the stage. We love the Kellevie trail team - they give up their weekends so crew have more trails to ride.
