(Academics, Counseling, and Empowerment) program at New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn has been partnering bimonthly with our Resident Wellness Program at Hong Ning Housing in Manhattan to create communal opportunities for intergenerational connection. This collaboration, known as "Saturday Intergenerational Activities", brings together high school-aged youth, older adults, and staff to bridge generational gaps. Some recent activities include wonton making and show-and-tell storytelling. These activities are thoughtfully designed to unite our community members through community engagement. Through engaging in activities such as preparing culturally appropriate meals and sharing personal lived experiences, these moments not only create new memories but also foster a sense of belonging and understanding of diverse lived histories. "Saturday Intergenerational Activities" is one of CPC's many programs that uplift and bring our community together. Please Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with Us and Make a Positive Impact by Supporting CPC Through #GiveInMay! Your 100% tax-deductible contribution will aid the over 280,000 community members CPC serves each year. Every dollar will go towards supporting more than 50 programs across 30 sites.
