Helping to enhance the safety of Juno Beach ![]() September 9, 2024 - Volume 7 Number 15 Juno Beach 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The Town of Juno Beach invites you to attend a Remembrance Ceremony on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:30 a.m., marking the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. In observance of those who lost their lives, the Juno Beach Police Chaplains will open the event with a solemn prayer in remembrance of the more than 3,000 lives lost on that day. Retired NYPD Deputy Chief Rey Mundo will reflect on the events of that day, reminding us of the tragedy that "We Will Never Forget." The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Juno Beach 9/11 Memorial, 340 Ocean Drive. Attendees are invited to remain after the event for a light buffet breakfast, sponsored by the Juno Beach Police Foundation. The breakfast will take place in the Town Council Chambers in the Town Center.
