Linked below is the February 2018 State-by-State Shipments to Wholesalers Report. Please note changes to historical volumes as some state totals may have changed with newly released state-level data.

  • U.S. beer shipment volume decreased by 2.6% on average during February 2018, which had the same number of selling days compared to February 2017.
  • Severe and pervasive inventory issues throughout the value chain impacted shipment volumes in many states, especially those west of the Mississippi, where several states experienced double-digit volume declines during the month.
  • Above average precipitation, primarily east of the Mississippi, also negatively impacted beer shipments in February.
