But even amid the still-ongoing upheaval in our lives, many of us have found or rediscovered things that we want to hold onto from now on. Working remotely has revealed the delight of commuting from our bedroom to our home office or kitchen table, spending more time with our family, and simply taking a mid-day walk around our neighborhood. And focusing on our home life has enabled us to see the virtues of simplifying our environment and budgets, paying more attention to our relationships, and expanding our horizons through new interests and hobbies. Reflecting on our business, we’re more appreciative than ever of continuing to work with great clients. They’ve demonstrated tremendous flexibility and understanding with new ways of collaborating with us and finding innovative solutions to engage their audiences. This gives us more confidence than ever that even better days—for all parties—are ahead of us. Recently, we’ve seen desperately welcome news that COVID vaccines may soon be available and that a return to some version of normalcy could happen next year. But the time that we’ve endured through the pandemic has shown us that we don’t have to look far to see the good things that are and will always be within our reach, and for which we can be forever grateful.
