• Reading: Finish reading Bud, Not Buddy; Setting comprehension skill test (big idea, connection point, essential questions, vocabulary, graphic tool) on Friday, September 21
• Spelling:  Vowel team - oa, oe, ai, ay - Soap, throat, coast, billboard, steamboat, oatmeal, cocoa, groan,  woe, doe, tiptoe, plain, sprain, saint, complain, tailgate, pray, stray, essay, freeway
• Language: continue preposition flow and transition words; Chapter 3 test on Wednesday, Sept. 19 over nouns (singular & plural), verbs, adjectives, adverbs, article adjectives, and prepositions
• Math: Continue Chapter 3 - multiplication; Speed Drill on Wednesday, Sept. 19 (multiplying by 5)
• Science: Chapter 3 test on Tuesday, September 18; Begin Chapter 6 on Biomes
• Social Studies: Continue Chapter 13 (Hitler and the Jews); open book quiz on Monday, September 17

We are hosting our 1st VIP Alumni Tailgate on Friday, October 12th from 5-7pm before the Football Homecoming Game. Come and enjoy great food, family entertainment, free admission to the game and an alumni tshirt! • September 21st - Elementary Cheer Campers will cheer at the beginning of the pep rally.  The pep rally will begin at 2:45pm
• September 28th - Grandparents’ Day Program at 9am in the Worship Center - Dismissal immediately following the program.  Students should be picked up by 11am - No Extended Care.
• October 4th - Cookie dough delivery date after lunch.
