Tertiary education providers and recruitment specialists can also talk with attendees about education and training options for the jobs of the future.
JOBEX is a free event, but registrations are essential.

The 2nd Annual Australasian Startup Awards recognise the top up-and-coming startups, entrepreneurs and tech companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Support the South Australian high-tech sector and get behind our SA finalists in the following categories: Michelle Perugini (Female Entrepreneur of the Year), Vinimofo (E-commerce Company of the Year) and Safe Ag Systems (Best SaaS Startup).
You can vote once a day until voting closes on 17 November at 11:59pm. Winners will be announced at StartCon 2017 in December.

Completing work and missions considered too dangerous, dull or dirty for humans, unmanned aerial vehicles – or drones – are a valuable tool in a variety of fields.
There are still serious limitations around the technology itself, specifically the fact that most electric drones have a flight duration of only one hour.
Praxis Aeronautics, a South Australian technology company, is meeting these limitations head on, having developed a method to manufacture affordable solar-powered drones which will have a flight duration of up to six hours.

AusBiotech 2017 wrap up

TechInSA is proud to have been the Host State Partner for the 2017 AusBiotech National Conference, held from 25-27 October.
The conference brought over 1150 delegates to Adelaide for the three-day event, opened officially by the Hon Jay Weatherill, Premier of South Australia.
The South Australian biotech and life sciences sectors were on show during the conference with a strong focus on Adelaide BioMed City. Check out some of the featured videos produced during the conference, showcasing the SA biotech sector by clicking on the link below.

Food, beverage & pharmaceutical manufacturing workshops

Various dates and locations
Face-to-face consultation workshops are taking place in November and December, across states and territories, for projects in food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The workshops, presented by Skills Impact, will give attendees the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft units of competency, skill sets and qualifications that are currently being developed as part of each project.
