Scheduled maintenance for key phone lines, including 0800 MASSEY

Out-of-hour phone services for the Contact Centre, ITS Service Desk and Facilities Management are expected to run normally during scheduled overnight work on Friday 13 May, 6pm - Saturday 14 May, 6am.

If an unexpected outage occurs on Friday night, main inbound University phone lines will be impacted - including 0800 MASSEY - and all incoming calls will be diverted to a voice mail system until the issue is fixed on Saturday. If you have a major event requiring phone lines planned for that weekend, please contact the ITS Service Desk.

OneMassey: No more multiple login prompts while off-campus

We acknowledge that it’s been difficult for staff to open OneMassey while off-campus and disconnected from the Massey network (i.e. not connected to the Massey network through VPN). Usually staff are prompted multiple times to sign in with Massey credentials. By the end of this week, we will have fixed this issue so that staff are only prompted to sign in once.

When this change goes live, staff will see a different login box when disconnected from the Massey network:

Staff on Mac computers, who prefer to use Safari, will need to enable third party cookies for this to work. Chrome and Firefox will work without any additional changes.
