Whoa!  We have finished all 50 states!  This is a huge challenge and we are proud of their hard work!  Also, thank you for the wonderful Valentine’s Day parties and all who attended!!

• Bible: We will learn about being “salt and light” for our world. 
• Bible Verse:  Matthew 5:14, 16 “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
• Spelling: Unit 23 (pre- and re- prefixes) Prevent, predict, prewash, preheat, prepare, pretend, precook, prepay, prefix, preorder, refresh, reflect, remote, refine, repeat, repaint, remove, regroup, refill, refund
• Language: Test on Wed. Feb 20, Start ch. 9 - pattern 3, direct and indirect objects.
• Reading: Continuing our study of Perspective, reading the novel Wonder.
• Math: Explaining and understanding fraction concepts, such as equivalence, comparing and contrasting, and problem-solving. Check-up on Friday, Feb. 22.
• Science: Continuing our study of ch. 6: light.

Our Discover Shiloh Dinner Event is next Tuesday evening February 19th from 6:00 pm - 7: 30 pm! This is a great opportunity to learn about Shiloh, hear from our leadership, and visit with current students, families, and teachers.
