FOC News! No images? Click here Hello Financial Opportunity Center Network,We hope you and your loved ones are all healthy and well. We are continuing to monitor the effects of the pandemic, as well as gather resources to support our communities during this time of COVID-19 related hardships. We are posting these resources on the FOC Network site, which is updated regularly. An example includes a deck prepared by FIWB that summarizes some of the key CARES act provisions that may benefit your community (e.g. the economic impact payments, unemployment assistance, and housing relief). We have been encouraged and impressed by your perseverance and resourcefulness—as we hear how you continue to provide much-needed FOC services in your communities. Many of you have shared stories of how you quickly pivoted services to phone coaching or were able to secure technology access for your trainees, and provided relief dollars and comfort to so many individuals struggling in this time. We will bring these stories and best practices, as well as some outside experts on trauma-informed care, through some must-hear webinars this Spring (see below). Enjoy the newsletter and please keep sharing your stories with us and your local LISC offices. Data Corner:In efforts to capture the impact on employment during this time, we have added some additional fields to Salesforce for COVID-19: 1) On the employment record, there's a new checkbox option under "Reasons for Termination" titled "Is this termination/layoff COVID-19 related”. Staff should check off the box if a client has been laid off or terminated due to the pandemic. 2) On the advancement record, there is also a new checkbox option ("Is the status update COVID-19 related?”) added just below the "status" field. If there's any change in employment status (increased/decreased hours, wages, furlough or suspension) the applicable status should be selected followed by a check-off of the “Is this status update COVID-19 related?” box. 3) On the case record, a new “group(s) for reporting” ("COVID-19") was added. This is optional but by adding clients to this group, staff will have the ability to run the full FFT Performance Report and filter specifically by this group. The updated Salesforce screen documents can be found here. For more support with Salesforce please contact the support desk. |
