No Images? Click here Barnard College Update - Monday, May 15, 2017Dear Claremont resident: A few updates for this week . . . The concrete pour that was scheduled for last Friday was postponed to today. While we don't expect workers to be onsite tonight, if the weather impacts the concrete setting up properly, it's possible workers could remain onsite into the evening hours. We also expect to have an additional concrete pour this Thursday, May 18, which will follow the same timetable as above. In addition, ConEdison has alerted us that they intend to deliver and install two pieces of equipment on the site this Tuesday (tomorrow) night/Wednesday morning. They expect to arrive onsite at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and depart Wednesday around 7 a.m. ConEdison officials have told us the work should be fairly quiet and minimally intrusive, but they will have additional lights on the site, as well as lights on their truck. The truck, which will be located on Claremont Avenue at the northernmost construction gate, will use a small off-loader crane connected to the truck to move the equipment. We appreciate your patience while they conduct this overnight work. Thank you and have a great week. Thank you again for your patience and have a great week.
