Lock 91

NoChintz provided design consultation for Lock 91, a bar offering located on Deansgate Locks. We consulted throughout the design process on décor, lighting and furniture as well as the bars that are located over 3 levels.

The Bourne Show Home, Frodsham

The NoChintz team have recently designed and installed a Show Home for award winning Architects Ollier Smurthwaite. The Bourne is a luxury conversation of a historic Methodist Chapel, creating four contemporary and stylish homes located in Frodsham, Cheshire. Our aim was to provide a luxurious and homely space; the sleek, modern interior was dressed with contemporary products, with a nod to the traditional fabric of the building being introduced through vintage touches. Using muted tones, textured fabrics and flashes of quirky accessories gives the show home a modern yet classic feel. Curtains spanning two storeys and framing a reclaimed church pew create a dramatic effect in the dining area ...Read More

  
 

The Sanctuary

NoChintz have recently been working with the Big Life Group for the design of a new centre, The Sanctuary in Hulme, Manchester. The Sanctuary is an "overnight, every night" crisis service providing support for adults living with primary care mental health difficulties such as anxiety disorders and depression. The aim is to provide a safe place with one on one support facilities offered through qualified staff and peers who have personal experience of mental health issues. NoChintz consulted on the overall colour scheme and finishes to create a contemporary, relaxing and safe environment for it's occupants. The Sanctuary launched In September and in just three weeks has supported over 40 people in need of help.

  
 

Woodhouse Primary School

This month NoChintz completed the refurbishment of a staff room in Woodhouse Primary School in Davyhulme. We advised on the colour scheme and were asked to supply the furniture to bring the space to life. We chose a neutral palette of warm grey tones to create a sophisticated and calming environment for the staff to relax in, and brought in a palette of greens in the cushions and chair leg details. The space had recently been extended so we made the most of this with a large feature sofa and a feature table for staff to work at. The chairs were chosen to bring a playful school reference into the space. The new layout supports 16 staff comfortably and allows them to both work and relax.
