Into the swing of a new season...

What a lot is going on at Bosinver! Our first Easter guests have arrived and Pat has been busy putting the finishing touches to all the cottages. We have unveiled our Rose cottage after its complete makeover and we have a few other nice surprises this year for our guests - the first of which you will hear about further down the page - a clue, he's black and white and very, very cute!

Many of our cottages are now booked up until after summer but there's still the odd bargain to be had on quick getaways before 17 May with our current special offer on short breaks.

Our Farmhouse (which has recently been re-thatched and is looking beautiful!) is only available now for a week from 31 May and also from 9 August - both weeks have a special discount of 15% the normal price! How about getting together with friends and family for a stay in this wonderful cottage? Both are available to book online.

We have now also set our 2015 tariff - so if you're keen on a particular week  or cottage, now would be the time to book to avoid disappointment! To book go to our availability matrix

Meet the new Rose cottage

This month's featured cottage is Rose which, we are pleased to announce, has re-opened to guests after a winter of complete rebuilding and refurbishment.

The cottage is still in the same peaceful setting but has been expanded to sleep 4 (rather than 3) in one double and one twin room with all new furnishings and fittings.  We hope Rose cottage's funky fresh interior designs will be a hit with our 2014 visitors.

The first guests to stay in the new look Rose cottage, Laura, David, Max (aged 3) and Harry Spencer (aged 3), were delighted to find they were the first to try out the new cottage. Laura said "We have loved staying in Rose,  it is stunning with bright colours throughout the cottage.  Our 2 boys have loved feeding the ducks that come to visit every day! We would thoroughly recommend staying in Rose."

If you would like to try out Rose then how about 4 nights from 21st - 25th April for the special offer price of £397 (4 nights for the price of 3)? It will be your last chance until Autumn, as Rose (as with many of our other cottages) is then booked though till mid September! To book please call 01726 72128.

Another new addition to Bosinver

The latest addition to the Bosinver menagerie is this beautiful little lamb who joins us from Farmer Dave's brother's farm. After a naming competition it was decided by the children at animal feeding that the new boy should be called 'Badger' because of his black and white markings.

He certainly is a big hit with our Easter guests and the children have been enjoying giving him his milk. We expect Badger will have as many fans as Chalky the kid goat had last year!

Wonderful Wild Kids and new Pony Grooming sessions

We've just held the first of our WIld Kids sessions for Easter and what a great bunch of children we had attend.  There was lots of muddy fun to be had with a mud ball aiming competition and some wonderful cone creature creations - plus the all important marshmallow toasting!

We continue to expand our Wild Kids offering and a new project is underway but is 'Top Secret' for the moment - keep an eye on Farmer Dave's facebook page to find out more as work progresses.

Also new for 2014 are Pony Grooming sessions - we trialed them this week and if they prove popular they will become a regular feature. Helen will be showing young guests how to groom a pony - we expect Secret, Kizzy and Rupert will enjoy it too! The sessions (for children 3 and over) can be booked on arrival at reception.
