We had a great short week to start off the new semester. It was fun hearing about the amazing things your families did for Christmas.

Next Week

Unit Study: We will finish up looking at polar animals and explore the seasons.
Show and Tell: This week students need to bring in their Seasons Poster. Outline was sent home in folders. Students need to cut and paste or draw their own pictures to show what they like about each season.
Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
Bible Verse: John 14: 6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Reading: We will continue reviewing sounds, sight words, blend books and guided readers. We will also begin introducing long vowel sounds.
Math: We will review addition and counting skills as well as introduce wholes/parts of whole and equal parts.

With the weather getting colder, please remember to send a jacket or coat with your child’s name on it, every day. Thank you.
