Barnard College Update - Friday, July 29, 2016

Dear Claremont resident:

Thank you for your continued patience during the rock excavation phase of Barnard's construction. This phase requires the use of several different types of large equipment. Our contractor has advised us that we will have a large equipment delivery this Monday, Aug. 1, at approximately 5 a.m.  As usual, we have asked our contractor to make this operation as efficient as possible.

We sincerely apologize for any disruption caused by this early morning delivery.  As we have mentioned in the past, the Department of Transportation requires that overweight equipment entering or exiting Manhattan via bridges and tunnels be transported during the overnight hours. 

Construction Schedule

Our schedule continues to be weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
