ANNOUNCING: Living Bits and things 2012

We invite you to join us to discover the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Living in Central and South East Europe. After a huge success in 2011 in Ljubljana with over 150 registered attendees the Living bits and things is going to host the next edition of the major Internet of Things events in Central and South East Europe in November this year in Bled. This year the event focuses on the Smart applications and services which are the foundation of the future sustainable and inclusive growth not only in Europe but also worldwide. We are glad to announce the Living bits and things 2012 is part of The Smart Living Europe Days 2012, whole week activities dedicated to Internet of Things in Bled.

Announcing RuSMART 2012

RuSMART 2012 will be held on August 27 an 28 in St. Petersburg, Russia – the meeting point of East and West. Opcomm will be presented with a presentation by Andrej Kos: 'Open and Scalable IoT Platform and Its Applications for Real Time Access Line Monitoring and Alarm Correlation'

Announcing IoT2012 in Wuxi

The 3rd International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT2012) will be held in Wuxi, China on October 24-26, 2012.

The city has been named the "Sensing China Center" since the year 2008 and is one of the leading centers of IoT-related research and industry in China.

IERC recognizes Living Bits and Things 2012 and Opcomm

European Research Cluster on the Internet of Things (IERC) gave special attention to Living Bits and Things 2011 in its publication and furhermore underlined the importance of the »first step in teh promotion and further development of the Internet of Things in the region of central and south-eastern Europe«. The publication also presents Opcomm Competence Centre and its operation.

Opcomm was active at Bled eConference

On Monday 18.06.2012 at 14h Competence centre Opcomm ran the panel under the name "Open Innovation and IoT for Business, Academia and Society". Participants could hear and see out more about the centre, its members and partners and got answers to future challenges and ideas how to connect and get involved with our centre and Internet of things.
