The Challenge

Application:  Curved Video Wall, 6x1 Samsung UD55C-B displays Portrait Orientation

Property:   AmericanAirlines Center - Sporting & Event Venue

Opportunity: Provide a dynamic, "stop and look" digital experience at the AmericanAirlines Center, with eye-level visualization in close proximity to passersby.

Selected design is a curved video wall with 55" Samsung UD55C-B displays in portrait orientation for maximum visual impact.

Must maintain tight seams between displays to avoid visual distractions in the blended images and for close viewing proximity.

A fixed wall mounting surface means the entire video wall must be front serviceable with the least amount of downtime.

The Solution - Action Taken

Upon assessing the project’s requirements, Premier Mounts determined they could use (6) stock product LMVP Press & Release™ Pop Out Video Wall Mounts.

The LMVP Press & Release™ design was selected for easy front service access using a gentle press to the display edge, releasing the panel from its locked position.

Convenient top adjustable fine-tune mounting brackets ensure easy alignment for optimum display seams. Included spacers decreased installation time and ensured a seamless alignment of the video wall.

For maintenance, the LMVP service-position kickstand offers 16° of clear access to the rear of the display.

The solution reduced the installation time and cost, while meeting the requirements for serviceability and tight seams for an optimized viewing experience.
