You also get the opportunity to talk to one of our experts – all of our session leaders are qualified teachers who deliver engaging and exciting lessons.

To mark the opening of our new Energy for Life: Tropical House, our Education Team have produced new resources for each key stage.

EYFS

I Spy in the Rainforest is perfect for your early years group. Encourage your class to immerse themselves in the rainforest, as they try to spot the animals.

KS1-2

Learning about food chains? Travel through Energy For Life: Tropical House and use our KS1 and KS2 resources to spot the animals and learn about their diets and food chains.

Learning about rainforests?  Our KS1 and KS2 resources are perfect to help your class learn more about our many rainforest animals and plants.

Post 14 and 16

Our new biodiversity trails are perfect for your post 14 and 16 groups. We have even included the answers to assist you (Post 14 and 16 answers).

BRICKOSAURS!

BRICKOSAURS!

Bring your school group along for a prehistoric experience outside of the classroom.

From 5 April to 1 September Marwell zoo will be hosting BRICKOSAURS! A world exclusive LEGO ® brick experience, which features a total of 50 sculptures.

Need ideas for how can you link it to your subject?

Geography and ICT - You can use the BRICKOSAURS! trail to navigate around the zoo, you can even use the Marwell Zoo app.

Mathematics and PE - As you track down the sculptures you can count the number of steps taken, keep a tally of the number of sculptures you find or calculate the mass of the BRICKOSAURS!
