Arc Inspirations

We are pleased to announce we are working with Arc Inspirations on two exciting new projects. We have named, branded and completed full interior design fit out for Kith&Kin (formerly Zed) in Chapel Allerton in Leeds. Watch out for this one opening very soon! Also we are working with Arc to bring Banyan bar and kitchen, to the prestigious Corn Exchange, Manchester.

THIS MONTH:
 

Infamous Diner

Infamous Diner is a new 150sqm, 90 cover American Diner Offering based on the border of the Northern Quarter close by to the Arndale and Shudehill tram station.

NoChintz were tasked with visualising and implementing the brand “Infamous” as well as designing the interior space. We took inspiration from Classic 1950s style American Diners and put our own contemporary twist on this to bring a slice of America to Manchester. Traditional black and white floor tiles, metal clad surfaces and classic retro American furniture sit alongside a decadent tiled and lit ceiling and a wall made up of 800 original american licence plates, referencing the car inspired logo design. We dressed the space with authentic American memorabilia, and included details such as a retro jukebox to bring the concept to life... Read more

 
 

Glamorous's first retail outlet

Glamorous is a high street fashion brand, trend-led and good value clothing aimed at young girls and women and until now have been selling through boutiques and larger outfits such as Top-shop. NoChintz were tasked with the designs for their first shop fit, located on Regent Crescent in the Trafford Centre.

The client wanted the feeling of a high end boutique but accessible to all on the high street. We took a palette of contemporary materials;  concrete, ply, and powder coated metal mesh and used these throughout the store with a focus of highly finished and a simple canvas to show off the trend led fashion which is updated regularly. The fixtures also need to be adaptable and flexible for future proofing, so we choose a strengthened wooden dowel in a number of arrangements with storage underneath for the floor standing fixtures and then a perimeter retail system to hold interchangeable side hanging, forward facing rails and pegboards for accessory display...
