Officer Hoffmann appointed to Detective

Detective Kevin Coppin Retires

Chief of Police Brian Smith recently announced the retirement of Detective Kevin Coppin and the appointment of Officer Ryan Hoffman to the rank of Police Detective.

After serving the Town of Juno Beach for several years (and the West Palm Beach Police Department for 30 years!) Detective Coppin has once again retired and will be taking on a civilian job with Palm Beach County. The Foundation thanks Kevin for his service to the Town of Juno Beach and wishes him well in his new, hopefully less stressful employment.

With Kevin's departure, Chief Smith has appointed Ryan Hoffman to the Agency's Investigative Division. Detective Hoffmann joined the Juno Beach Police Department after a stellar career as a Detective in New York City's 105th Precinct, the largest NYPD precinct, where Ryan's case load was always very heavy and very professionally managed.

The Police Foundation congratulates both of these Law Enforcement professionals as they move forward in their careers.
