This issue contains a symposium titled The Revival of Industrial Policy. The first article (Caldentey) provides an overview of the symposium. The second article (Ciaffi, Deleidi, and Dorato) provides a state-of-the-art survey of industrial policy. The third article (Skidelsky) explores the place of industrial policy in Keynes’s thinking. The fourth article (Galbraith) discusses how the Neoliberal era has cannibalized the US government’s capacity to implement effective industrial policy. The fifth article (Wade) discusses China’s emergence as innovator and challenger to the US. The sixth article (García-Herrero) analyzes how China’s industrial policy works. The seventh article (Ahumada and Chang) presents a proposal for a new international economic order that would enable developing countries to pursue industrial policy.
