Reverse Transfer Partnership with GRCC

Inline

An agreement put in place this summer with GVSU and GRCC to allow students to use GVSU credit to retroactively earn an associates degree has resulted in 20 degrees so far. Of those awarded degrees, 13 students used GVSU credit to complete requirements and 7 were already eligible for degrees but did not file the necessary paperwork at GRCC. This initiative is designed to improve graduation rates at our partner institution GRCC (many students transfer before completing a degree) as well as to meet state leadership's goals to increase the number of students in the state with academic credentials. MORE INFORMATION about the agreement or FORM for referring students.
