Enhanced timezone capabilities 

As international operations at Arlo continue to grow, our development team have been hard at work enhancing the platforms internal display of regional based information.

The system has been refactored to display timezone related information in order to provide a more consistent and user friendly experience globally.

Dates and times on the Arlo management platform will now appear in the users timezone.

When Director Colin Slattery and Office Manager Bernadette Dunn first approached Arlo the demand for their events and workshops had grown considerably. 

They were looking for a system to automate and streamline their processes and integrate with Xero.

Arlo has supported Semann & Slattery by completely managing the administrative tasks behind their events and workshops; accepting website registrations and payments along with course delivery. 

Arlo has enabled them to easily offer a range of course delivery methods including face to face, customised, multi day, private in house and conference style. The Arlo WordPress plugin has ensured their programme of workshops and events are updated on their website when required.

We are very much enjoying working with such a fast paced innovative client as Semann & Slattery.

Manage your tasks

Arlo helps you to not only keep track of every task and provide transparency to the team, but also allows you to relate tasks directly to the appropriate customer, event, or lead.

Once a task has been created you can view it on the specific entity it has been created against e.g. an event, or contact. You can also view completed tasks with the tasks view filters. You can easily manage all your tasks within the My Tasks section of the platform (select My Tasks from the Activities menu), and the dashboard.

This allows you to:

  • At a glance, see how many tasks you have overdue, due this week, due next week.
  • Search for a task.
  • Filter the list of tasks, e.g. only display tasks for a specific category such as Book accommodation, or view all unassigned tasks.
  • Create new tasks, assign tasks to others, edit existing tasks, and mark tasks as completed.

The Arlo Support Team are the experts to speak to when it comes to needing assistance with the platform, or help answering tricky questions. 


As the use of our application increases, so does the demand for technical support. We try our hardest to ensure that reasonable response times are kept. Before contacting us there are other ways in which you can find the answers you need. 

  • Look for the answer on our Online Help Forum. It's loaded with hundreds of articles containing step by step instructions and screenshots. We are also in the final stages of revamping this, so keep an eye out for the changes.
  • Take a look though our FAQ section
  • Book in a Training Session with our Sales Team

In the event that you do need to contact us we would be grateful if you could follow these steps to ensure you can provide us with all of the information to assist in logging and resolving your issues as efficiently as possible.

  • Verify that the error is repeatable. Some errors may be fixed by starting over
  • Take a full screenshot of the error 
  • Let us know the frequency of this problem 
  • Let us know the browser/operating system the issue has occurred on
  • Send through a full description of the problem including details of any error messages or warnings that are displayed
  • Send through any other information that you feel may help in the diagnosis of the problem

How do I know which report to run when I’m after specific information?

Reports in Arlo are broken up into useful categories, to help you find the report you are looking for. Think about the information that you are wanting to retrieve, and look for keywords in the title that match this. Sometimes it’s worth testing a report out, by checking the criteria and options available, as well as assessing what is returned when you run the report. 

Why is my multi-session event pricing incorrect?

With multi-session events, you have the ability to set a base price for the event, as well as the ability to add ‘additional’ prices for the sessions. Because session pricing is separate to the event base price, be careful not to charge more than you are intending if you are setting prices for the sessions. Also make sure you keep the Tax Settings (exclusive or inclusive) consistent across the pricing.

I have an idea or suggestion for a new enhancement in Arlo. Who should I inform?

We love hearing your ideas and suggestions for new features in Arlo. If you have an idea for a new feature or enhancement, post it on our Feature Request page on our Online Support Portal. The feature request page is just one of the ways our developers and product team find out what our customers want. It also provides the team with valuable ideas on what areas can be improved or enhanced on within Arlo.

How do I edit my starter template and link to my website? 

The starter template is designed to be set up quickly and without any development. You can change the website colours, upload images, and edit content from within your Arlo management platform. You can link the starter template to your website by selecting the pages you want and asking your website administrator to add these pages to your website as links.
