What’s the next big date in your diary?

We’ve also had some non pancake related excitement in the office – as Managing Director of ARV Solutions I have been shortlisted for Agency Recruitment Leader of the Year in the Recruiter Awards!

ARV Solutions are keen supporters of the industry and involving ourselves through exhibiting and sponsoring events is a clear demonstration of this and sets us apart from other recruitment businesses. Towards the end of 2016 I experienced the proudest moment of my career so far. ARV Solutions achieved the Investors In People standard. Not just that, but we achieved Gold accreditation at first attempt.

I’m opening myself up to some abusive calls that recruiters are the worst poachers! (actually within my recruitment business we rarely take this blunt approach and see it as flawed) but hey, guess what? My staff get poached all the time too!

I find it frustrating to have my staff approached, though not surprising, as they are talented valuable people, as are yours.

So how do we get them to stay? And not be tempted to look around elsewhere?
