We’ll be at the Pro Show on Friday, March 18, with a 5m Panorama and our OmniFocus 30270 projection system, based on the Digital Projection HighLITE. Interactive content will be driven by Omnity. Email us to set up a meeting!

Elumenati co-founder David McConville is keynoting the summit on March 16.

OmniMap

OmniMap is open source!

Our OmniMap geometry correction API is now free and open source, enabling a wide range of applications for spherical display. We’ve contributed the source to both the World Wide Telescope and OpenSpace projects, enabling these community-driven resources for display in Elumenati systems. OmniMap is now available on GitHub for developers to integrate into both open and closed source projects.

CMOM

GeoDome Panorama at CMOM

A GeoDome Panorama is part of the Children's Museum of Manhattan's America to Zanzibar: Muslim Cultures Near and Far exhibition, using WorldViewer for a 3D exploration of mosque architecture. We worked with the museum staff to develop content using WorldComposer. Visitors use a touchscreen to locate mosques around the world, and zoom in to explore panoramic images filmed at the mosques.

NASM

Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum

With our partners at NASA JPL, we rolled out a new kiosk version of Eyes on the Earth, Solar System and Exoplanets. NASM visitors can now explore curated datasets, NASA-guided tours and features, and current events using an intuitive user interface – in four Cobra Panorama systems, installed in October. It’s our second project at NASM – their Magic Planet has been powered by our OmniFocus projection system since 2014.

Intrepid Kids Week

GeoDome Theater at Intrepid Kids Week

We were onboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Manhattan for Kids Week in February with a GeoDome Theater, as part of the  ‘Extreme Environments from Earth to Space’ theme. Audiences in the dome traveled 30 billion light years in 30 minutes with Uniview, and special guest presenter Kevin Hussey from NASA JPL explored NASA mission data with Eyes on the Earth, Solar System and Exoplanets.
